Je trahirai demain

A poem by Marianne Cohn accompanied by music.
This project was developed in 2020 to commemorate the anniversary of the end of WWII in Europe. The focus was meant to be on the “behind-the-scenes” of the front-line.

Marianne Cohn was a key member in a team who secretly helped Jewish children escape from invaded-France into neutral Swiss territory.
She often lead children accross the French-Swiss border herself, and it was during one of these secret trips that she was captured and taken to prison.

There, in an attempt to get information from her, she was tortured regularly.
After one month and eight days, she had not given any information nor betrayed any of her companions. On July 8, 1944, she was murdered. She was 22 years old.

This project is a tribute to her bravery.
